Morgan's First Stars Game... We Won!

Morgan went to his very first hockey game! We won! And, he also had his first french fry. We went with Christi & Scott, Ben & Mary and the kiddos. Morgan wore his Dallas Stars outfit and Wyatt wore his Detroit Red Wings outfit. (Both Dan and Scott are originally from Michigan.) Dan wore his All Stars jersey and I wore one of Dan's HUGE GIANT Stars Jersey. After the game we met up with Laura & Allen at Dick's Last Resort. Morgan passed out at Dick's in his stroller.

Morgan's First Slumber Party!

Morgan hosted and then went to his first slumber party all in one weekend! Christi and Scott went out on Valentine's Day while Wyatt spent the night with Morgan and then we went out the next night for our Valentine's Day while Morgan spent the night with Wyatt. They had a great time. Christi, however, was a mess. She ended up in the hospital both nights! It turns out that she'll need to have her gallbladder out. We totally lucked out when Mr. Wyatt spent the night. He slept until 10:22am! Morgan was up 4 1/2 hours before Wyatt even stirred. I kept going in to check on him to make sure that he wasn't dead!

You can kind of see the playroom in the pictures. It's really still a work in progress. I've almost completed painting the shelves. You can see a small part of the shelves in the pictures. They go from floor to ceiling and have pear green toy bins on the shelves. The back wall and interior of the shelves are red with a cream trim to match the swirly rug. It is a TOTAL pain because it requires one coat of pink primer and then THREE coats of that red. I also need to finish painting the train table to match the rug and make the valance and sitting pillows. But, you get the basic idea. My inspiration was Dr. Seuss.

Studman Morgan at His First Valentine's Party

Christi hosted a Valentine's Day party yesterday for the little ones. Morgan and Wyatt were the only boys. What studs they are! There was another little 4 month old baby. But, the sofa was so crammed with babies. So, she stayed in her mom's safe arms for this photo op. Everyone dressed up in pink and red. Of course I dressed Morgan in camo. Ha!

Everyone made Valentine Cards. I stayed back from that because Morgan just tries to eat anything paper. I'm still waiting for a good time to go through a stack of paperwork here at the house. Morgan made a Valentine's cookie for his dad. But, I was hungry becasue Dan got home later last night and I ate it.

Morgan Ate the Paint off His Crib

So, every one in our family has been soooooooo sick with the flu and bronchitis for over a week! Morgan's become a little spoiled with cuddling and hugging during that time. He hasn't been able to sleep by himself. I've been rocking him and sleeping in the rocking chair. Today I decided to put him down for his morning nap and just let him holler it out. I'm so worn out. Well, after a LONG time of whinning I decided to go in and check on him. He was standing up in his bed protesting and chewing on the top of the crib. He ate off the paint! Here's a lovely picture I captured as evidence. He's now freshly bathed, back in his bed and hollering again. Go to sleep Morgan!
