Morgan 15 Weeks Old

Morgan is 15 weeks old today! He's getting so big. He feels solid now. And, his personality is really starting to shine. Check out the video of him in his exersaucer. He's still a little young for it. But, I let him hang out for a while. His little legs are so strong. It looks like he is trying to stand up on his own. He's also started putting toys in his mouth. I'm sure that his little teeth will start to pop up any day now!

Father's Day 2007

Today was Dan's 1st Father's day. We started off the day by letting dear ol' Dad sleep in until about 11:30. We laid around for most of the day. Dan cooked some ribs for dinner. Grandpa Bruce stopped by and we reminisced about the good days at Camp Longhorn. And, we talked about the fact that Morgan is going to be a famous rock star in additon to a winning golfer. No pressure little guy! It was a great day.

Morgan's First Swim

Today Morgan is 14 weeks and 1 day old. We went over to GG's house and she heated the pool to just the right temperature. He loves the water. He wore his "surf dude" swim trunks, and we showed him how to splash water. He's so athletic!

Grandpa Hangs Out With Morgan

Grandpa came by the house today to hang out with baby Morgan. Morgan actually took an AFTERNOON nap today! A 2 hour afternoon nap! So, Grandpa had to wait. When he finally woke up we went to El Chico. Morgan made it about 15 minutes by himself in his car seat at the table before he got a little fussy. He just wanted to sit in my lap at the table. He was fine after that. Then, we went back to the house where Grandpa gave Morgan a bath before bed. Grandpa said it reminded him of washing a dog in the bathtub! Watch the video below. 1st Laugh Today!

Well, I missed it. But Dan called me as I was driving to the grocery store. Morgan laughed for the first time today (13 weeks 4 days). Dan was playing with him and pulling his arms and biting at his belly. Evidently Morgan thinks that is hilarious! We tried to make him repeat it tonight without much luck. I'm sure that it will soon become a regular event for our little man. I was thinking tonight about how lucky we are to experience all of Morgan's "firsts" with him. There are so many more to come!

We both went out for the first time this weekend. I went out with a girlfriend and Dan went fishing with the guys. It was so odd to be away from baby Morgan. GG (Georgeous Grandma) babysat. Thanks GG!
