Wow! Mr. Man Can Pull Himself UP!

Well, our little man has been cruising for a while now. For those non-baby people... that means that he's not walking. But, he can hold on to furniture and walk with the assistance of furniture of people.

Dan walked into his room today and found that he was standing in his bed So, Mr. Morgan can now pull himself up! Dan is taking the mobile out of the bed as I type so that Morgan doesn't choke to death on it. It's a good thing that we lowered the bed all the way last month.

Six Flags - Holiday in the Park

We took the kiddos to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. Thank you Amy & Matt for the tickets! We had a fabulous time eating our way from one side of the park to the other. Dan had a fried chocolate twinkie. I didn't know that there was such a thing!

The park was packed. I've never seen it that busy in my life. There were a lot of people watching opportunities... ummm.... all I can say is WOW! Forget the airport. If you really want to get an eye full... go to Six Flags.

Morgan loved the light show. They have Christmas lights set to music. It's a lot like that amazing light show on that crazy house that everyone started emailing a few years ago. He was all bundled up in his stroller with 3 blankets.
Christi dressed Wyatt in his Red Wings track suit and Morgan wore his Stars track suit. Morgan had a static problem in his hair... ha!

Sally Anne & Mandy in Town

Sally Anne & Mandy came to the house for a family coffee/tea this afternoon. Hillary, John, Anne & my mom were also able to make it. It was good to catch up. It's so rare that we get to see them! Sally Anne is a curator for a private collector while Tom is finishing up law school Mandy is settled into her new home and marriage while Kalim is just fresh out of law school. Chris stopped by the house also. He is crutch free after taking that nasty spill off the ladder a few months back.

Morgan is now cruising full speed ahead! For those of you who don't know what cruising is.... Cruising is where the little ones grab on to a sofa, coffee table or whatever they can get their hands on and walk with support. It's pretty amazing. I never thought that Morgan was going to crawl and then two days later he's all over the place. He hasn't learned speed yet. He takes his time. But, who knows what will come next.

Tonight we are going over to Scott and Christi's. Thanks for the Omaha Steaks and Hamburgers Dad! We are bringing the hamburger meat for tonight. Yummy. I've always given it as a gift. But, I've never had the opportunity to taste it myself. So, I'm looking forward to a yummy burger tonight.

Amy & Matt were so generous to give us Holiday in the Park tickets. So, Dan, Christi, Scott and I are going to take the kiddos this weekend.

Christmas Day - NEWS FLASH!!! Morgan Crawls!

Merry Christmas! Morgan gave us the best gift today! He full-on crawled. He's been scooching all over the place for about a month. But, today, he crawled across the room. We were so shocked. My mom, Dan and myself all saw it at the same time. It couldn't have been a more perfect situation. I'll post a video later.

Isn't this ornament hilarious! It's the leg-o-lamp from A Christmas Story. My mom came over to our house for Christmas day. She brought all of the food. I didn't have to do a thing!
Morgan loved opening (eating) his presents. He really made out like a bandit this year. All of the grandparents and great-grandparents sent wonderful gifts!
Dan gave Morgan this play yard. I can't wait to get all the other little kiddos in there too!
What a cutie!
Delicious!
Grandma Marie sent a t-shirt from Michigan. Too cute! I'm sure that Scott & Christi will want to "borrow" for Wyatt.
This picture is hilarious. He loved the Cheerio book and counting caterpillar. But, he has a disgusted look on his face.

Christmas Eve Lunch at Edgemere

What a whirlwind this Christmas was! We kicked off Christmas Eve with lunch at Edgemere with Lane, Grandmommie, Hillary, John and my mom (GG). It was chaotic and loads of fun. Grandmommie's hearing aides were working... yea! So, she was able to join in on much of the conversation. Lane's broken arm is healing. You can see a wrap that she is wearing over a smock to cover up her arm. We spent a little over three hours with everyone. Mom brought the birthday cake for Jesus... a long-standing family tradition.

Later that evening we joined Reni & Joel (GaGa & Poppy) with their family for more food! We feel so lucky to have them as neighbors. Morgan and Zachary (5 years old) opened presents. Morgan got a baby palm pilot and Zachary's gifts have Spiderman all over them. He's into anything as long as it has Spiderman on it.
